I wanted to do colour the same image on the same cs with Distress markers to see how they compare to see how they compare to Zig markers. The Distress markers took more water and more effort to pull the colour out than the Zigs but gave a pretty good result, though of course the Distress colours are more muted. So do I need the Zig markers? I'm not sure - though I definitely want them!
In keeping with the use of the Distress markers, I finished this card in a more distressed style. I spritzed the Peeled Paint marker in random spots, and then, using Peeled Paint ink, I added a partially inked text stamp and sponged the edges. A simple green cs border seemed to be all it needed. I used an ivory cardbase for this one.

I do like the soft, muted colors you got with the Distress markers...then again, I really like the pop of color from the Zig markers. I'm not much help! I guess it will just depend on what look you're going for when you choose which marker to grab. The text stamp and spritzing were perfect for finishing this vintage card! Thanks, again, for playing along in my DTGD challenge!
